Pocket Champs is a game where your champion races against others. The goal is to win races to increase your trophy count. Victory is solely dependent on your champion’s level, gadget choice and gadget level. I personally do not recommend this offer, due to the low reward for the amount of effort needed as well as the sheer amount of ads you get between races, which gets tedious and slows down progress immensely.

Gameplay

Pocket Champs is a game where your champion races against other champions. Whether your champion wins solely depends on its level as well as the gadget’s level used for the race.

Bottlenecks

Way too many ads in between levels. Every 2 races, you’ll get a forced ad, which slows you down immensely. I mostly got ads, that required you to press an X / skip button 3 TIMES!!!

In order to level up your champion as well as your gadgets, you’ll need to open training kits, which you get after completing 3 races. You have 4 training kit slots in total and you cannot make progress to collecting another training kit, if all slots are full. Depending on the training kit, you’ll need to wait 3, 8 or 12 hours for one to unlock. Make sure you schedule chest openings according to your schedule to make the most of them.

Tips

This game is best suited for those who can check the game multiple times a day rather than once a day. Every 3 hours is golden as that’s how long it takes for a training kit to open. Also after 2 and a half hours your 5 event tickets will be replenished, allowing you to play 5 event races. Also opening a training kit that takes 8 or 12 hours to open before you head to bed or before a period where you cannot check the game for a while is a good idea.

Make sure you climb the campaign as fast and as far as you can. Every time you hit a trophy milestone, you’ll get some rewards or unlock a permanent event mission. The cool thing about those specific permanent event missions is that your oponents will stay the same difficulty and won’t scale with your power, meaning you can complete them anytime you want and with ease.

Not too sure how these are calculated. In the end I managed to complete the Beginner Play and Progress task, but didn’t get further than that after 40+ hours of having the app open.

Speedrunner Task

Unless you spend money, there’s no way you’ll be able to reach 58’000 trophies within 20 days

Regular Tasks

I personally was able to get up to 22’000 trophies after 30 days.

Something I’ve noticed recently is the sheer amount of ads you get in between races. Every second race, you’ll be forced to watch an ad. Sometimes you’ll get an ad where you’ll need to press X up to 3 times on different screens before you can finally get back to the game. At times, it’s faster to just close the reopen the game.

I could not be bothered to grind up to 26’000 trophies, so this concludes me trying out this offer

Conclusion – Earnings, Effort + Personal Opinion

So far I’ve made $1.601 and spent 41 hours and 13 minutes on the game. That means, I earned $0.038 / hour.

Granted most of the time spent on the game was fairly low effort / idle, but what annoyed me the most was the sheer amount of ads in between levels. You’d have an ad play every 2 levels, which slows you down dramatically. While the gameplay was alright, I wouldn’t recommend this game offer just because of the number of ads. I personally believe, I would have gotten a lot further, if there hadn’t been as many forced ads as there were.
